does the thought of custom invitations for announcements for your special occasion give you goosebumps? does your wallet think otherwise when you search out that perfect style and then do the math? then these options are for you...

for a flat fee of $25:

* i will make changes to an existing design currently available on my website, brides to booties facebook page, or this blog, to compliment your special occasion
* i will send you a proof with a watermark on it for your approval
* after final changes (if any) are made, i will email you a final (non-watermarked) hi-resolution photo image of the file, formatted and ready for printing
* along with the photo image, i will email you a release granting permission for you to have them printed wherever you choose
* the image(s) will be formatted for printing anywhere (ie: walmart [in store or online], kodak kiosks, sam's club [in store or online], costco [in store or online], snapfish, etc.)

rachel's mommy was my pen pal (in Hawaii) when i was growing up. for all you "youngins"...a pen pal is when people used an actual pen and paper to correspond). so glad to have rekindled our friendship and actually get to spend time with rebecca, her husband and their beautiful daughter on their east coast trip last year.

welcome charlie!

my nephew, charles "charlie" david brumbaugh was born on 3/9/10! to say the entire family has breathed a sigh of relief after his healthy and safe entrance to this world just days before his older brother oliver would have turned one is a complete understatement. although the pain of not having oliver here with us will never go away, having charlie around has made dealing with that pain just a little bit easier for all of us. his big brother harrison has been just amazing with him and my little (ok, not so little anymore) guy anthony is totally smitten with yet another cool cousin! here is the announcement that was design for charlie...

welcome khloe!

khloe is the daughter of kory and brittany kaye. while i've never met brittany in person, she attended a mom-to-be event hosted by genspan baby group and walked away winning a drawing i sponsor during their events for custom announcements! brittany and i have been corresponding back and forth for a few weeks now. since they did not know the sex of the baby prior to her arrival, they opted for an announcement where colors could easily be changed at the last minute once he or as we can see now, she, appeared! i was able to get them the envelopes prior to her arrival so they could address them while they still had a few minutes to themselves before the hustle and bustle of new life with a sweet babe took over! i hope to get to meet brittany (i ever so briefly met her husband kory when dropping off the envelopes) and sweet little khloe in person when dropping off their finished announcements this week!

re-birth / birth

the "re-birth" of my new website this weekend wasn't the only new addition to our family...

my sister and brother-in-law welcomed their third son into the world yesterday morning. charles "charlie" david was born at 10:51 a.m.

charlie was the inspiration for the chocolate and blue boy announcement on the website. the photo used in the sample announcement isn't charlie, but as soon as i get the "official" announcement photo and make the changes to personalize it with the specifics, i'll post a copy here for you to see!

+ business has been going very well thanks to my loyal clients and those new ones that have found me along the way! i am enjoying every minute of my new venture that occupies my little bit of extra time after the little one goes to bed and the big guy is playing wii!

+ the logo has been revamped a little and the corresponding button and code to be able to post on your blog has been updated to coincide. the old one will still work as the old website address will forward to this one.

where is the time going?

i have several designs i'm working on for holiday greeting cards that i will be putting up as i've finished them. many thanks to my sister and nephew for the use of his adorable photos from his photo shoot for last year's "perfect photo" for use in my samples. this will give some "ready-made" options that i would just input your favorite picture into. of course, tweaks can be made to color schemes, card size, etc. to make the card more "you".
